Dr. Farrell is the author of “The Myth of Male Power” and “Why Men Are The Way They Are.” Over 100,000 men and women have experiences the other sex’s point of view in his workshops. As a result, he has new theories about the reasons love, intimacy and commitment mean different things to men and women.
Patricia Ireland served as the President of the National Organization for Women (NOW) from 1991 through 2001. As the leader of the largest, most visible and more successful feminist organization in the United States, Ireland’s major contributions included organizing NOW activists to: defend women’s access to abortion, elect a record number of women to political office, work more closely in coalitions with other social justice and civil rights groups and champion feminist issues.
