Weekly Round Up: Arn Chorn Pond, Daniel H. Wilson, Neil deGrasse Tyson

Happy Wednesday! Let’s see what our speakers have been up to this week:

Did you know Cambodia has long tradition of their own opera?  Arn Chorn Pond and Cambodia Living Arts will be bringing one to the US this winter. It’s a requiem for those killed during the Khmer Rouge genocide. Should be powerful stuff.

Roboticist/novelist Daniel H. Wilson has a new book out! The Clockwork Dynasty posits that robots have lived among us for centuries … interesting premise!

As only he can, Neil deGrasse Tyson is working with TBS to produce ‘interstitials’, short video piece that fit between shows and commercials. In this first one, he ponders what alien life would most likely look like.

And those are the stories for this week! Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with the latest from all of our speakers, scientists and change makers!
