Video: Captain Paul Watson at TED

Captain Paul Watson, head of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, recently spoke at TedxSF about his life on the high seas, harassing and sometimes sinking, whaling ships. As a modern day “green” pirate, he told the story of a life-changing encounter with a sperm whale  and how its eye communicated a message to him about the insanity of human exploitation of the oceans.
